In 1999 José Cicero Almeida took a leap. He decided he would open his own food & beverage business, combining good service and a sophisticated menu a la carte.
Inspired by a famous beer house of the time, José Cicero moved forward with his idea in the city of Ribeirão Preto with a pioneer project focused on the draft beer segment, beverage highly appreciated in the region.
Today, Chopp Time is running a successful business with 30 franchisees spread across 9 Brazilian states. The network assists the franchisees from the selection and acquisition of a site to the daily operation, in order to offer high quality services anywhere in the country. This means that, to preserve the high standard of excellence, the network continuously invests in human resources contributing significantly to the labor market in each region where operates.
